The representative (gedeputeerde) of the province of Groningen on Energy Transition, Environment and Human Resources, Nienke Homan (GroenLinks) visited the Ocean Grazer project at the University of Groningen to witness first hand the current progress of this project. There she could witness several demonstrations of experiments, including a prototype version of ten interconnected floater members in a newly constructed wave flume, each equiped with an individual pumping system, followed by a lunch and discussion afterwards.

The representative was thoroughly impressed with the ongoing developments and the concept and expressed her intention to support the Ocean Grazer project.
